Enforced changes to the line up meant that several players made their first starts of the season as Spinney lined up against Mill Park.
Spinney started brightly, as Hasdell and Richardson's running caused the Mill Park defence plenty of problems, and with hard work paying off, Richardson headed the visitors into the lead.
With Spinney constantly on the attack, the lack of end product was once again evident, and this allowed Mill Park back into the game when a long ball found a home striker in acres of space for him to smash home past Hoedemaker.
Despite a much more controlled teamtalk at half-time, the home side started quicker and scored some quick goals in the second-half. Asa Green then became the third Spinney player in as many weeks to put past his own keeper as Mill Park took control. Tired legs and some sloppy play put the game beyond the visitors as the home side were perhaps made to look a lot better then they are.

A quick note to Eddy, who looked good whilst playing but his ankle took another pounding. Unlucky mate, keep your head up (and your vomit down).
The ref was again very fair, and allowed the game to flow.
I don't know what it is about us, but we haven't started the second-half very well at all in the past two weeks. We concede goals we definitely shouldn't be conceding for some reason. We need to sort it though. We definitely need to work on our concentration - even something as simple as not sitting down at half-time as we seize up and aren't ready to go again.
Keep your heads up and keep on pushing for your places, lads.
